- Official opening ceremony of the European Heritage days 2003 in Bulgaria by the Deputy Minister of Culture

- Exhibition of paintings depicting the cultural heritage of the various ethnic and religious communities
- Organized trip to the Dryanovo monastery and the “Bacho Kiro” cave
- Visit of the Roman fortress “Discoduratera”
- School competition for essay, poem and painting dedicated to “Cultural landscapes”
- Specialized classes in the school programs, dedicated to “The cultural and natural heritage of United Europe” and “Outstanding figures of the Bulgarian Revival in the region of Dryanovo”

Nessebar
The European Heritage Days are in synchrony with the celebration of the 20th anniversary of including of the Old Nessebar in the World Heritage List, including the following events:
- Happenings – festivals for children and adults, concerts, shows, games, competitions;
- Program for improvement of the monuments exhibit – restoration, planting and gardening, artistic lights, development of the surrounding territory;
- Educational and promotion program – development and transmitting of the film “The Old Nessebar” on the national TV, publication of books and albums promoting its cultural assets, as well as the scientific research on them
- Scientific forums with international participation of scientists in the field of medieval history and representatives of UNESCO, of the Organization of the towns – World heritage, of the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture and of various cultural institutes
Kirkovo
- Photo competition “Cultural landscapes”
- Trips to the natural phenomenon “Rock mushrooms” near the village Jerka
- Development of brochures for the cultural landscapes and monuments of culture on the municipal territory
- Organized visits of the town museums
