Bulgarian National Committee of ICOMOS win a project for "Conservation and restoration of the church of St. John Aliturgetos" in the city of Nessebar, drafted by team of our members.

The project is funded by the Ambassador`s Fund for Cultural Preservation Large Grant and was worth $ 700,000.

The news was officially announced by US Ambassador Marcie Ries.

This is the largest amount granted by the US Government in Bulgaria for this type of activities.
